ndexport Messe Frankfurt is the subsidiary in Argentina of Messe Frankfurt GmbH, the world largest organizer of professional fairs. Automotive Indexport Guide – Argentine Automotive Industry Guide - a necessary material that is distributed in the main International Fairs of the sector.
In addition, and due to its prestige and expertise, Indexport Messe Frankfurt was selected as co-organizer of the
9th Parties Conference of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climatic Change (COP
9), that was held in Buenos Aires from 21 September to 2 October, 2009. For ten days, Argentina became the center of discussions on climatic change at world level, since it was the seat of the most important environmental policy forum of the year. And Indexport Messe Frankfurt was present, organizing an event that captured the attention of the whole world.
Indexport Messe Frankfurt continues to grow and expand its influence throughout the continent; as from January 1st, 2004 it was selected by Messe Frankfurt for the promotion of the company in
Paraguay, Bolivia and Uruguay.
In addition, the International Sales Department designs the call for Argentine exhibitors and visitors to all the fairs organized by Messe Frankfurt worldwide.
Messe Frankfurt and Indexport – A Strategic Alliance
Both companies first got together in 1999, when Messe Frankfurt proposed Indexport to be its partner in the organization of the first edition of Automechanika in Argentina Four years later, in 2003, the alliance was formalized when Messe Frankfurt elected Indexport as its new subsidiary company that would strengthen its presence in South America.
In 2009, Messe Frankfurt organized a total of 90 trade fairs,
of which more than a half took place outside Germany, especially in
other cities of Europe, America, Asia and Middle East. The group
boasts a global network of 28 subsidiaries, 5 branch offices and 52
international Sales partners. Messe Frankfurt is present in
more than 150 countries and the events are carried out in more
than 30 locations around the globe. Through the acquisition of 60% of the Argentine company Indexport S.A. Messe Frankfurt started a cooperation program with a company of renowned experience, with over sixteen years devoted to the search of new markets for its clients while highlighting the added value of its products.
In 2005, Messe Frankfurt expanded its participation to 85% of the company's stock and appointed Mr. Fernando Gorbarán as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director.
